Environmental Permitting (EP) charges
The Environmental Permitting (EP) Charging Scheme 2011/12 reflects our duties and charging powers set out in the Environmental Permitting Regulations which came into effect in April 2010. Although the following regimes are covered by one charging scheme we have introduced separate links to allow easy access to additional documents.

- Fisheries charges
Rod licence duties, temporary and general fisheries licence duties, and lock and weir fishing permits.
- Flood defence levies
The charges and levies we raise to fund our flood defence works. This includes Internal Drainage Board precepts and General Drainage Charges.
- Navigation charges
This section identifies the waters where we are responsible and thus reclaim the costs incurred through the fees for the registration of vessels and charging for non-vessel related items.
- Pollution incident and cost recovery (PICR)
We have to recover the costs of pollution incidents.
