If you produce or supply chemicals you must provide information to make sure that chemicals are used so they do not pose a threat to the environment or human health.

    Under the Notification of New Substances (NONS) Regulations 1993, chemicals suppliers must provide information on substances that are new to the European market. This information is used to decide whether or not the substance is dangerous.
