Environmental Permitting Regulations

The Environmental Permitting Regulations (England and Wales) 2010, cover water discharges and groundwater activities, radioactive substances, waste, mining waste and installations. They also include provision for a number of Directives including Batteries.

If you already have a consent to discharge, groundwater permit, radioactive substances authorisation or registration it automatically became an environmental permit on 6 April 2010. You do not need to reapply and we will not reissue your permit.
