We can meet these demands with an approach that focuses on priorities and that helps business and individuals reduce their impact on the environment and reward good performers – and yet one that’s tough on those who do not meet acceptable standards. We call this 'better regulation'. It’s an ongoing process of improving the way we protect the environment.
