How do I sign up for direct debit?

Guidance for completing the online direct debit application form

Complete the top half of the form with the details of the rod licence holder. Please leave the Customer Reference Code blank (this field is for office use only).

Complete the bottom half of the form with the bank details of the account you would like the debit to come from.

Please remember to sign and date the form before posting it to the address at the top of the form. Please do not include any cheques or postal orders with the form, as this form is for direct debit applications only.

Once your direct debit has been set up, you will receive a letter to confirm your licence details and explain when the money will be debited from your bank account.

Early each March the licence fee will be deducted from your bank account. Later in March a licence will be posted to you in time for the start of the fishing season on 1 April.

Payment protection
The direct debit scheme is protected by your own bank or building society. Each year you will receive advance notice of the date and amount of payment. If errors are made you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund of the amount paid.
